10 Error Drone Pilot– We found several cases caused by the pilot in analyzing the flight data, we sorted it into the following:

  1. Doing CSC Combination of Excessive Remote Lever

CSC is the method used on the remote control lever to machine the engine before takeoff. CSC can be done by pulling both the remote control lever to the inside or outside corner. This method can also be used to turn off the engine settled aircraft landing. Use of this CSC is not recommended for novice users, as it may cause upside-down drone. Pulling the lever that is too hard when it is flying can cause aircraft crashed.

  1. Loss of Props (vane)

Props (propellers) must be really in tight condition when before take off. If one of the four props is off when flying, then your aircraft will have a severe accident. Always check props before flying.

  1. Return to Flying Start Point (RTH)

Aircraft will usually return to the starting point when the signal loss from the remote control and flies too far. That’s why it’s important to always keep your flying distance, so you can always pay attention to your aircraft. If the RTH procedure is active, the aircraft will lower its flying height automatically and fly to the starting point of flying.

  1. Automatic Landing Away From Flying Start Point

If the low battery warning alert appears when the aircraft is at a distance of more than 20 m, you must cancel the RTH function in 10 seconds if you still want to fly the aircraft. If there will be a battery warning later, your drone will automatically make a landing. At such times, you will only be able to drop, twist, or tilt the aircraft. It is important to always pay attention to the warning of battery power.

The wide and open area around the starting point of flying is the best place to land when compared to areas with lots of trees and lakes.

  1. Flying Too Far

Each place has its own flyover zone. Keep always the distance of your drone fly, do not make flights that violate the rules. Just because you have a camera in your drones does not mean you have the right to see everything around you.

  1. Fly backward on FPV

Recording by means of flying backward can indeed produce images with good quality. However, this can be a dangerous thing if you just focus on your phone screen and do not see what is on the drone path that might cause a lot of interruptions and even accidents.

  1. Fly In The Room

Sensitivity when flying indoors does occur frequently. This is one of them because there is no GPS signal in the room. You need to practice flying aircraft in ATTI Mode outdoors first before smoothly doing the flight indoors.

  1. Not Undoing RTH Procedure

If your drone is over 20 m when the battery power condition is low, the aircraft will automatically return to the starting point if the RTH procedure is not canceled. Some pilots make their own landings when warned about this weak battery power.

Not long after landing, the drone will be able to fly again, rising up to the height of the green space that can sometimes make the pilot confused. In these situations, you have two options: to let the drone get back to the starting point automatically or to take control by canceling the RTH procedure and landing your drone manually to the starting point of flying.

  1. The Selection of Unfavorable Places

There are many places that interfere with the safety of your drones while flying, so it is important for you to be careful in choosing a flight location. GPS signals and remote controls can be blocked by large buildings, trees, radio transmitters, and power lines. Choose a location away from these disturbances.

  1. Distance to Stop

There is always the temptation to use a technology to the maximum extent. Although the pilots know they are not allowed to fly drones with a height of more than 400 feet and a distance of more than 500 meters, there is always a desire to find out how much the maximum limit that can travel drones.

Although the drones are equipped with sophisticated technology, the drones are still unable to stop abruptly. However, the drones still cannot resist the laws of physics, give sufficient time intervals so that the drones can stop smoothly.
